JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday paid rich tributes to the Indian Armed Forces on the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, praising their courage, dedication and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.
In a statement, Sinha said the operation symbolised India’s strong resolve against terrorism and underscored the preparedness of the armed forces to respond firmly to threats against national security and civilian lives.
He said the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces continue to inspire the nation, reaffirming the country’s commitment to protecting its territorial integrity at all costs.
The Lieutenant Governor also reiterated the administration’s determination to root out terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that sustained efforts are underway to dismantle terror networks and ensure lasting peace in the region.
Describing the armed forces as the backbone of the nation’s security framework, Sinha said their service and sacrifice remain a source of pride for every citizen.
