Srinagar, June 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) on Tuesday organised the M.Sc. Nursing Common Entrance Test (CET) 2026-27, with examination centres set up in both Jammu and Srinagar.
The test witnessed the participation of 447 aspirants from across the Union Territory. Candidates from the Kashmir region appeared at S.P. College, M.A. Road, Srinagar, while those from the Jammu division took the examination at Government Gandhi Memorial Science College, Jammu.
Authorities ensured that all necessary logistical and security arrangements were in place to facilitate a hassle-free examination process. The arrangements were made in coordination with local administration, educational institutions and security agencies under the supervision of JKBOPEE Chairperson Prof. Minu Mahajan.
According to officials, the examination concluded peacefully without any reports of unfair practices or disruptions. Invigilators and supervisory teams remained deployed throughout the process to maintain transparency and discipline at both venues.
Senior JKBOPEE officials, including the Chairperson, Members, Secretary and Controller of Examinations, closely reviewed the conduct of the entrance test. They also acknowledged the cooperation of district authorities, college administrations and staff members for ensuring the successful completion of the examination.
The M.Sc. Nursing CET serves as the gateway for admissions to postgraduate nursing programmes in Jammu and Kashmir for the 2026-27 academic session, and the smooth conduct of the examination reflects the board’s continued focus on maintaining a fair and efficient admission process.
