NEW DELHI, May 11: Omar Abdullah on Monday said he will take up key issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir, including the Transaction of Business Rules and reservation policy, during his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi.

Speaking to reporters, Omar Abdullah said the discussions would also cover matters related to the appointment of the Advocate General and other administrative concerns linked to the functioning of the Union Territory.

The Chief Minister said he continues to strongly push for the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and raises the issue whenever he meets the Union Home Minister.

“I raise the demand for statehood every time I meet him,” Omar Abdullah said, reiterating his government’s stand on restoring full statehood to the region.
