JAMMU, May 06: The question of who will take over as the next Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Marh remains open, with both IAS and JKAS officers being considered for the post.
According to sources, the administration is currently weighing its options, with one IAS officer and two JKAS officers in the race for the position. A final decision is expected soon.
The post fell vacant after SDM Marh, Pallavi Mishra, was transferred from the AGMUT cadre to the Punjab cadre following her marriage. Her transfer marks a personal milestone, while also leaving behind an important administrative role that now awaits a new appointment.
As the process unfolds, there is keen interest locally regarding who will step in to take charge and continue the work in the subdivision.
