NEW DELHI, May 10: Senior IAS officer M Ramachandrudu has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), marking a significant addition to the Union government’s administrative setup.
A 2009-batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre, Ramachandrudu is known for his administrative experience and has served in various important positions during his career in the state as well as at the Centre.
His appointment to the Ministry of Home Affairs is being seen as an important responsibility, as the ministry handles key matters related to internal security, governance and Centre-state coordination.
