Jammu, March 10: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday reaffirmed that the government remains fully committed to addressing the concerns of people and ensuring timely relief and development across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir.

During a series of meetings with Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), the Chief Minister listened to issues raised from various constituencies and assured the legislators that all genuine public concerns would be taken up and resolved in a time-bound manner.

The MLAs highlighted several matters related to development works, infrastructure, and public welfare in their respective constituencies. They emphasized the need for improved civic facilities, faster execution of development projects, and effective delivery of government schemes for the benefit of local residents.

Among those who met the Chief Minister were MLA Samba Surjeet Singh Slathia, MLA Banihal Sajad Shaheen, MLA Ramban Arjun Singh Raju, MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar, MLA Gulabgarh Er Khursheed Ahmed, and MLA Anantnag West Abdul Majeed Bhat Laram.

During the discussions, the legislators presented detailed representations regarding road connectivity, public services, and other constituency-specific concerns. The Chief Minister assured them that the government would review the issues carefully and take necessary steps to address them at the earliest.

Reiterating the administration’s focus on inclusive growth, Omar Abdullah said the government is working to accelerate development projects and strengthen public welfare initiatives across the Union Territory. He added that coordination between elected representatives and the administration is essential for effective governance and for ensuring that people’s grievances are resolved promptly.

The meetings are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to maintain regular engagement with public representatives and ensure that grassroots concerns are reflected in policy decisions and development planning across Jammu and Kashmir.
