KISHTWAR, Feb 10: Acting on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kishtwar, Manoj Kumar, conducted surprise inspections of Block offices at Drabshalla and Trigam to review office functioning and assess employee attendance.
During the inspection, the ACD found only 17 employees present across both blocks. He carried out a detailed review of office operations and stressed the importance of punctuality, discipline, and adherence to official responsibilities.
Reiterating a zero-tolerance policy towards non-performance and absenteeism, the ACD emphasized the need for regular updating and proper maintenance of official records. He also directed the staff to ensure prompt and effective redressal of public grievances, underscoring the administration’s commitment to responsive governance.
Taking a firm stance against absenteeism, the ACD issued Show-Cause Notices to both blocks, reaffirming the district administration’s resolve to strengthen accountability and ensure efficient public service delivery.
