Rajouri, February 12: The District Administration Rajouri has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Finance Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, in recognition of its commendable performance in enhancing coverage under the Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) campaign during 2025–26.
The recognition acknowledges the administration’s sustained efforts in ensuring maximum enrolment of pensioners under the initiative and facilitating seamless access to pension-related services.
Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, the district administration, in coordination with treasury officials and line departments, undertook extensive awareness campaigns and facilitated doorstep services for the timely generation of Digital Life Certificates, particularly in remote and far-flung areas of the district.
The Finance Department appreciated the district’s proactive approach and consistent outreach efforts, which significantly improved coverage and enabled pensioners to avail benefits without inconvenience.
The District Administration expressed gratitude to the Finance Department for the recognition and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening citizen-centric service delivery initiatives in the district.
