RAJOURI, Feb 28: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, conducted a surprise inspection of the office of the Assistant Executive Engineer, Power Development Department (PDD), to evaluate its functioning and review the status of public service delivery.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with members of the public who had come to the office to seek redressal of their grievances. He sought feedback regarding the handling of their complaints and assessed the department’s responsiveness in resolving power-related issues.
Taking a serious note of service delivery standards, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to ensure prompt, time-bound and effective disposal of public grievances. He emphasized that no complaint should remain pending or unattended.
Reiterating the administration’s commitment to good governance, he stressed that public service delivery must be transparent, accountable and citizen-centric, with greater focus on efficiency and responsiveness.
